What’s Sarong?

I’m sure each of you has a sarong tucked in a drawer, yes?* And you’d wear it frequently if you just knew how to tie it. Well, help is here!

If you’re small enough that you can simply knot a towel around your person after a shower, you already have the basics down pat. But with this must-have diagram from Sarongs by Serenity, you can turn your little craft project into a full blown art!

I am particularly enamored of the middle “Sunsuit” illustration which could easily be the Flasher model should you like to add your own twist. In fact, just how many more variations can you devise? Send photos. There will be no prize for the winner.

Goat Not Guilty!

For those of you following the case of the man attacked by a mountain goat: A guy was hiking when he was gored to death by a mountain goat in Olympic National Park. His family sued the park for millions. The federal court has announced “his family is not entitled to damages because the plaintiffs are at fault for the death.”

I think the deal is that hikers urinate on the trails, and the salt attracts the goats. But in this case, maybe the hiker was calling the billy a nanny or something. I don’t know. I do know that the goat has become bigger as reported through time … the most recent figure is 350 pounds.

The story’s ending is not all happy especially in that the goat was ‘harvested’ following its adventure with man vs nature. The guy is dead, too. And the family? Well, it appears they’ll have to keep their day jobs. Ain’t that a shame?
